WALKING ON COUNTRY

Walking on Country is a fitness hiking experience for women, that has been created to explore the trails of the Adelaide Hills and surrounds, while also exploring and facilitating connection to country, through walking and trail running on Kaurna Country.

The program creates opportunity to:

  • Connect to nature.
  • Improve your overall health, fitness and wellbeing.
  • Connect with other like minded women.
  • Participate in Yarning Circles.

There are two offerings of the program:

1. Trail Fridays/Saturdays –  Each week we explore a new trail ranging from Anstey Hill to Sturt Gorge. (For those with a sound fitness base)

2. Couch to Trails for beginners – a 10 week program designed to give participants the strength and stamina to explore the trails. This is an introduction to trail running.

NOTE: The sessions are capped at 10 Participants to ensure quality of service.
